Maine College of Art & Design, Portland, Maine, Published in 2024

Art director for a complete redesign of the physical wayfinding system for the Maine College of Art & Design to align with the new visual identity.

From exterior signage to interior navigation, we introduced a cohesive typographic system that improved campus flow, enhanced accessibility, and reflected the historical design of the institution. The updated wayfinding helped students and visitors navigate the space with ease, and also reinforced the college’s renewed sense of place and purpose. Six buildings were updated with the new signage. We were heavily inspired by the Bauhaus movement and playing with sense of scale to introduce a playfulness into the space.
